Why should your friends promote your Facebook page? Should you ask them to? How will you benefit?
1. They are your true cheerleaders
Well, the answer’s really out there. It would be silly to not ask your friends to promote your business. Only they can tell the story you want to read. They may not know your product well, but they know you really well. They will always be honest and give you the push you need.
2. Let them do the telling of how great you are
Your qualities, ethics, characteristics, and originality, which you have put together to form your business, becomes their business to tell. Let them take anecdotes; remind them some good ones. A well woven story shouts larger than anything else.
3. Let them model your products
If not regularly, let them experience your products once. It will make a great difference to the review they give on your page. Instead of just reviewing you as a person, it’s important that you combine your personality with your product. Your audience will trust a review more when they see it being used. Take a snap and add a review along with it. It’s 10 times more appealing to see a friend model your product and you not have to worry about payments.
4. Leads to trusting business
I once wrote a testimonial for my friend’s business and share it on my page. Quite a few of my other friends contacted her and built instant relations. Not everyone bought something from her, but she did gain some business. Most importantly she built on her networking and social contacts. Not just this, she was alright to let my friends buy on some credit. This is what goodwill does. One doesn’t become a sponsor by just promoting a friend, but gives that much needed boost and morale built helping to grow business.
